Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and think about how you want your life to feel.
Don’t let your mind wander to the “how” just yet—simply sit with the sensation. If you wish for peace, let it wash over you. If you seek excitement, let your heart rate rise with a smile.

In our day-to-day lives, it’s easy for our desires to be swept away in our pursuits, as every choice we make either brings us closer to that feeling or pulls us farther off course. The macro decisions—how we choose to spend our time and who we spend it with—knit themselves together to create the foundation of our being. But even the seemingly inconsequential workings of our will play a role, down to the smallest piece of decor.

At Patina Home & Garden, we are dedicated to supporting you as you curate a life you love, down to the smallest detail. If it doesn’t add value and beauty to your everyday life—if it doesn’t elicit an emotion you want to live with—it doesn’t make its way to our shelves. This is a value we’ve held since the beginning, and as I share some of the newest arrivals on their way to you, I hope you see that much is true.

For the past couple of weeks, every few days, the sun breaks through the dreary gray of winter cloud cover and warms the air just enough to remind us that soon, it will be here to stay. As with a germinating seed, this dappled luminosity and visiting warmth have coaxed us out of our winter dormancy, bringing with them the beginnings of our spring collection.

Just as we do every season, we are taking our cues from the natural rhythms and responses unfolding around us.
Creativity is the essence of spring. During this season of awakening, we feel called to encourage the generative force we all carry within us. Garden goods and watercolor workbooks.....

... along with work from local artisans—like pottery from my daughter, Leila, and our friend, Meghan Aileen—allow us to share this energy with you.

Outside, growth finds new life, and we’ve followed suit in our store, expanding our selection of antique furniture and decor. These one-of-a-kind pieces, imbued with story, are ready to become part of yours.

The promise of spring flowers, with their delicate nature and romantic feel, has guided our collection of Shoppe Ada vintage pieces. Though a selection of heavier jackets remains on the rack as cooler temperatures linger, pastel dresses and floral motifs are slowly beginning to emerge, like the first blooms against a still-dark landscape.

In our farm shop, the sweetness of the season and its gentle pull outdoors bring to mind our newest vendors: Blondy’s Baked Goods, Honey Med, and Maple Valley Ranch Ground Beef. These additions will perfectly accompany a feel-good family barbecue as the weather warms.

As green leaves begin to unfurl and flowers come into bloom, our seasonal selection will continue to grow. In just a few weeks, fresh flowers, produce, and plant starts from the Bloomerie will return to the farm shop, and more curated home goods will make their way onto our floor.

We can’t wait to share it all with you.If there’s anything else you’d love to see us carry, let us know in the comments below. We’re here to help.

Brooke
