The clients desired a mix of classic French design with a modern touch. The design challenge was to created more formal rooms for gatherings while keeping it comfortable and cozy for a family of four. The indoor-outdoor lifestyle was important to them. In the center of the home, the glassed in stairway has the air of a European central courtyard, bringing light into the home and separating the gathering spaces from the more intimate family rooms.
