In a time where words are usually manifested through the frenetic click-clack of a keyboard, the sound of a pen on paper is a sweet, soothing song.

Ink spills itself across a blank expanse, the power of our hand and our mind working in concert to bring our inward dialogue into the realm of reality. Thin lines and looping letters act like a leash, securing ourselves and our once-fleeting thoughts to a place of permanence.
Though the words may be the same as those that appear before a blinking cursor, the human touch of handwriting imbues them with a sense of meaning that cannot be communicated within the two-dimensional glowing realm of the technological expanse.
This realm promises efficiency and convenience, and swears it can bring us the key to open the door that holds the secrets to a life well lived. But we know, we feel, the emptiness it leaves. The words vanish quickly, the memories fade faster, and we find ourselves trading away our true nature for cheap tricks.
How do we reclaim what we have given away? We slow down and rebel gently against the promises the world idolizes. We sit long enough to let our minds run free, and use the slow motor of our hand, grasping a meager pen, to catch the thoughts that try to escape us.

Sometimes, we reserve these musings just for ourselves, whether they be a deep inward reflection or a menial list of tasks. Other times, we send them out into the world to be held by those who our outstretched arms cannot reach. Heartfelt cards adorned with dried teardrops. Cherished family recipes, stained with the ingredients they speak of. Small notes containing nothing but three words, just seven letters, jotted down quickly, but never without care.
Each correspondence is more than mere words. It is an embodiment of once-formless ideas, written in our own unique font.
These sentiments are the true artwork; the paper they land upon is the frame. Our new line of paper goods, created in collaboration with Carter Lipscomb, was designed with this in mind.
Our selection of notepads, cards, and gift tags is meant to elevate the beauty of the sentiments shared upon them. Decorated with doodles by yours truly, they bring a sense of whimsical charm and sweetness to every written correspondence, honoring the weight and warmth of the words they carry.
We all have something to say. Whether that something is bigger than we can bear or so small we deem it inconsequential, it longs to be shared. It must be known so that we, too, may be known. Our collection of stationery is here to help you do just that.
So today, grab a notepad and an uncapped pen, and let your ideas flow through the ink into the world. Tell someone you love them and seal it in an envelope, presenting it as the gift that it is. Share yourself with the world in the way that only your handwritten words can.
xx,
Brooke
