CELEBRATING THE LAUNCH OF "PATINA HOMES AND GARDENS"

I know I have probably said this a hundred times by now, but it still bears repeating: the best part about opening our shop in Leiper's Fork has been the relationships that we have created within the walls of this old general store.

Last Friday, we celebrated the launch of our new book at our shop, and the event made that truth all the more evident.

Hosted by our book agent and the editor-in-chief of Luxe Interiors & Design, Jill Cohen, the event was the perfect way to usher Patina Homes and Gardens into the world.

As guests arrived, they were welcomed by the beautiful music of our dear friend, the incredibly talented musician Abigail Rose. Her angelic voice and kind spirit set the warm, welcoming tone we strive to create at every event.

In the Farm Shop, Bezoe arranged a scrumptious array of small bites. I wish I could send you all a taste of her Thanksgiving Egg Rolls or her divine gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. We all indulged and chatted away, with exclamations of “yum” weaving into the lively conversations between old and new friends.

The Farm Shop also housed our bar for the afternoon, where the Global Mixologist from BLACKLION vodka crafted the event’s signature cocktail, the Bee’s Hive. This refreshing drink, made with BLACKLION vodka, honey, bitters, and apple juice, was a hit.

The festivities spilled into our courtyard, where Frank, one of BLACKLION’s “Flockstars,” greeted guests with his striking good looks and sweet demeanor.

While the evening started as a celebration of Patina Homes & Gardens, by the end, Frank had clearly stolen the show! (And honestly, who could compete with that face?!)

After all the books were signed, and we closed our creaky door for the night, our team gathered to reflect. We all sat there, smiling.

“How do you think it went, Brooke?”

“Perfect.”

And it truly was.
